Working Dat 9-5
I was looking through my old blog here and thought I'd update what has been going on since I got back.
It was a tough road but I ended up getting a job full time in Perth's biggest Advertising agency, Marketforce. I was there for 6 months before getting let go of, which was probably the best thing that ever happened to me (I realise this now, not at the time).
Right now, I'm working in a top Digital Marketing Agency doing Search Engine Optimisation and Pay Per Click campaigns. I manage up to 40 clients and I really like what I'm doing now.
Even better, I'm gaining some real skills that I can take with me from this job. When I was unemployed for two months after Marketforce I realised I had no skills to sell afterwards, I had learned so much about how to do nothing. Now I'm learning skills that I could freelance with and as a result I'm already starting a website to start a Search Engine Marketing business in case of a rainy day.
